It's Almost Christmas...

This time of year always makes one think of many things. As I rummage through my craft room,I looked at some past postings and  https://tfoley55.blogspot.com/2016/03/i-did-it-again.html is one of them. I then realized I never did post about the very 1st time I actually used any of my beloved G45 collections!  They make me feel all fuzzy inside and lots of special memories flow in an out of this head...anyhow,  Here it is the the VERY 1st

Merry Christmas Walt!  Miss You lots  Love T

Door hanging For R.I.

I put this little whimsical deer project from Cricut together on  Burlap frame from Walmart. It measures 12x12 and Ashton decided the deer looked best with this diamond orientation to hang on their front door of the apt. We found a sparkling sprig at Joann's and used a small stem piece for his nose and also some snowflakes that can be placed and glued as well.
This was the 1st time I used my Heat press and it definitely took many passes @305* and 30 seconds each to get the glitter htv to stick!  I used teflon pillows and a dishtowel to lift the fabric as much as possible for the press to lay flat and connect to the material.
I really do like the way its coming together, and can't wait to see it on her door. I left the loose branch and snowflakes for her to glue if she wanted :)

Cleaning Paused :)

I thawed a bunch of Jumbo Shrimp. I knew I had to cook something worth the size and it had to be something Yummy...Coconut,Fried,Scampi, Asian or just straight up Cocktail and a salad??????
Well, here's how it worked and YES I enjoyed it!
fresh picked the from the garden
shelled the shrimp
saute'd in the garlic, lemon, wine and onion (no shallots available)
OH GADS this IS GOOD!

I do have to admit I lightened up on the butter amt and used vermicelli instead of the traditional linguine.

Marjie P , it might be time to get that recipe book together :)

Wow! It's been way tooooo LONG

I signed up for a "Merry Making" card class online with Jennifer & Kristina. It began today. I finished up some Halloween cards (I'll post them tomorrow) and still had some time to begin trying this New Technique using the Tim Holtz Distress OXIDE inks :)
While I definitely NEED some practice blending, I am happy with the final outcome and have a cut in Design Space that will make this front a home 🤣. (coming soon)
