Gentlemen BDay Card

 I needed a Masculine B-Day card quickly, so I dug out some oldies but goodies

and a slight ...oops,but He won't even notice LOL

I used: A piece of 12x12 from the Abandoned Limited Release Pad embossed with 662715 Mechanics and a bit of salvaged patina oxide added. I inked a turquoise scrap with vintage photo to grunge up and use with 660222 Scribbles & Splat. The inside words were cut with pieces of Kraft-Core papers and the 660211 Celebration Words die. The Gentleman was cut with stash and 660286 Gentlemen die.

I enjoyed playing and using what I have!

These were so fun to put together! and Watercolor :)   I used Tim Holtz Watercolor Pencils, some Stickles added Vellum Snowflakes cut with a Darice die and finished off with 6x6 paper stacks in my stash.

Frosty in November!

 Mr. Frosty (CMS499) is so fun to play with. I saw someone do a card all in blue tones, so I picked the Uncharted Mariner Watercolor Pencil to do this 1st try at this technique with a Gold Stickles buckle :)  Pretty pleased with the turn out.  I had a Hexagon frame from Michaels and decided to make this decor for my craft room. The background is a wallpaper from TH.  The holly leaves and foliage are from TH dies. Frame is covered in TH design tape(washi).

 The Gnomes were supposed to be on a candy wrap, but I had those little file folders cut and sitting in front of me. They were cut  from The Carta Bella Devoted paper pad. The Gnomes were from cardstock stash.

The "Be Mine" is an inspired Polly's Paper Studio card. I love her style of card and floral arrangements. I went simple on this one though :) and used Prima flowers from my stash.

I came across this background in a 6x6 when looking for the polka dots for the black & white card  I did earlier, and thought it would be fun using another one of the stamps from the set :)

Wow It's been a really LONG time since posting here. 

  I made this little guy for a new friend  that I met up the street. She is actually from New England too!   She visited back there and brought me back a bottle of  Yummy Maple syrup!

Home Sweet Haunted Home

 

Played with another wood kit from Paisleys and Polka Dots I added some crackle to the windows and orange vellum in between the layers with stickles to sparkle like a light. A spooky tree needed a spider web and the grounds some mossy grass with pumpkins. The 2 smaller ones are a light up necklace! that turns on from the back and give a slight glow to the house and the spider web!

I had so much fun putting this little witch together :) She came in a kit from Paisleys and Polka Dots

I added a little pumpkin charm to hang from her hat instead of a spider! 

She now sits on my daughters desk for the season :) and NO SPIDERS ALLOWED!  lol

Gnombie Family Fun

Wow! so many things have changed since my last post to this blog! Corona Virus hit, Alison got laid off her job, then was called by her previous employer and ever so happy to return! An anticipated move to the south fell through for Matt. Ashton Graduated URI  Ph.D in hand and all other life plans are on the back burner button :( I'm trying to involve as many crafts as possible and enjoy the Hot Summer here in New England.

Here are a few fun recent plays with Cricut printed Gnombies(which I LOVE) and colored with my Copics then sprayed with Huey Canyon and Huey Gold sprays
